EVX Midstream is a next generation midstream company operating in Eagle Ford and other basins. Colexas supports and manages EVX’s SCADA system.  We are their go-to resource for problem solving anything with their SCADA system. We also implement new technology within their system. Our team also provides C&E services with field instrumentation. 

A few key SCADA improvements include:

• Alarm management – We reduced false alarms from 20,000+ daily alarms to less than 700.

• Volume reporting of facility inlets and sales 

• Automated cloud reports using the Ignition reporting module. One report allows the EVX team to create and manage volume reports 

• Automated reports on downtime of facilities and equipment

• Ignition API to new technology that provides leak detection information and alarms

Champion X produces the DigiUltra controller, which enables chemical optimization logic to be built to enable safe operations, enhanced visibility, and savings on chemical programs. The product worked well with XSPOC, but they need it to be compatible with other SCADA systems, in particular Ignition.

Colexas was able to integrate the controller with Ignition SCADA. Data from the wellpad now seamlessly flows into Ignition. This has increased the marketability of their controller. 

Streamline originally needed to upgrade their enterprise SCADA system. The system was primarily cloud-based, but the cloud was too small for their growing company. Colexas managed the transfer of their database and cloud server.  The enterprise upgrade was implemented in an efficient and cost-effective manner for the client, minimizing downtime and improving data capabilities.

While Streamline has an Ignition Specialist on the team full-time, our team at Colexas serves as a continued resource for unique requests, troubleshooting, and other Ignition consulting. We have worked on various data visualization projects including custom report dashboards and the development of a manual data entry application.
